Hey everyone! Brooke Kennedy here from Suite B Hair and Skin Lounge, and I’m bursting with excitement to share some HUGE news. We’re bringing in a new product line that I’ve been personally obsessed with for the past few months: Clayton Shagal!
I know, I know, you’re probably thinking, “Another skincare line?” Trust me, I get it. I’m constantly being introduced to new products, and honestly, I was a little skeptical about topical collagen at first. There are just so many products out there promising the world. But then I met Robin Lee, the US distributor for Clayton Shagal, and everything changed.
Robin’s skin is absolutely incredible. Seriously, she looks amazing, and she’s been using Clayton Shagal for over 30 years! I had to ask if she’s was using injectables – she assured me there were no injectables, no fillers, just Clayton Shagal. At that point, I knew I had to learn more.
Robin is a wealth of knowledge and has been so amazing to work with. She explained the entire philosophy behind the line, and it just makes so much sense. Unlike other skincare where you apply actives at the end of a treatment, Clayton Shagal has a different approach, and is designed to be applied immediately after exfoliation. This allows the product to penetrate deeper and really work its magic.
What makes Clayton Shagal so special? It’s all about rebuilding the dermis from the inside out using some key ingredients:
- Collagen: Their collagen is marine-derived (from fish skin) and comes in a complete, smaller molecule that doesn’t need to be broken down to penetrate your skin. This means it actually gets in there and does its job! We have different strengths (5%, 10%, and a powerful 40% serum) to suit different skin types and needs.
- Elastin: This is so important! It’s derived from bovine tendon and works with the collagen to give you that firm, bouncy skin we all want. Robin explained that you can have all the collagen in the world, but without elastin to bind it all together, you won’t get the same firming effect.
- Hyaluronic Acid: A triple-weighted hyaluronic acid for intense hydration.
I’ve been using the products myself since September 19th, and I’ve been sending Robin weekly photos to track my progress. The results have been amazing! I noticed changes within the first week, and it’s just kept getting better. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the fine lines around my eyes and mouth. They’re definitely softer and less noticeable. It’s like my skin is plumper and more youthful overall.
We’re going to be talking more about the science behind Clayton Shagal and showing you some amazing before-and-after photos during a live stream on December 30th at 6 PM PST.
